The Beauty of Feedback

All right, cool. So, Thursday the 26th of June 2025. And, you know, like, I want to talk about feedback when it comes to music and putting myself out there. As much as this is like something that I'm very sensitive to, and I've been very sensitive to feedback for a long time.
Like, you know, this is something that I've been sensitive to since the beginning. And I feel like the more accurate expression to really kind of like part with is the fact that it's something that I'm not used to, right? Feedback is something that I'm not used to, like it's not really sometimes depending on the perspective, it's not fun to kind of like get
critiqued on the work that you've kind of like worked so hard to put out. It's very, it's not easy to kind of like get the reaction that you're not expecting from people, you know, kind of like, especially on something that you've worked so hard on. But I'm now beginning to realize how important and how intricate I swear to a certain extent, feedback is when it comes to like engagement, like, you know, even if you're even if feedback isn't great, it's still a form of engagement.
People are still listening, critiquing, and kind of like engaging with your music. Like you're still giving people something to do. And so I kind of like want feedback to be a part of kind of like what, you know, I want that, you know, I'm now beginning to realize it's important. And, you know, maybe it's even like a missing element to the, you know, to kind of
like the things that I've been trying to build, you know, the community that I've been trying to build people telling me that something's good, or people telling me that something's bad is important, it is an actual form of engagement. And rather than me being afraid, or me kind of like putting myself in positions where I don't get critiqued, where I don't get feedback, feedback, I should actually go ahead and kind of like put myself out there
and just basically kind of like make that a part of the structure, I made that a part of the routine. Because again, it creates a sense of community when I can kind of like get feedback from people and I actually deliver on things
that they actually wanna hear or they kind of like, it makes them a part of the process and so stuff like that is important and I feel like I definitely need to kind of like shy away from it a lot less and kind of like you know go forward with it with a leading foot or a leading hand
