Cold Shower

Okay. Tuesday, the 3rd of March, 2026. I noticed something a bit strange today, right? 

Because we're currently in a month of March. So that means like, you know, February, January. 



I've noticed that it actually has been a pretty long while since I've taken like a hot shower. 

I'm not even joking. I'm almost surprised at myself because last year I went through a period where all I was doing was just taking cold showers, right? That's all I was doing. 


Uh, and then I went back to the period where I just started taking regular showers because I, I, I, I, something that the habit, you know, what's it called, the old habit, almost like got the better of the my new habit. 


And then I was also, I also psyched myself out of the winter period because I knew that, you know, I was saying to myself that I was only comfortable with having cold showers because it was the summer period and I wasn't going to be able to hack it. 


I wasn't, wasn't going to be able to actually do it during the winter period, but, you know, I started off the year by essentially just having cold showers, uh, and, you know, so basically during the most terrifying period, to effectively start, you know, you know, thinking about or starting, having cold showers. 


And I've just literally like, I've just been doing it. I've just been carrying on, like, I can't really remember the last time I had a hot shower. There may have been one. 


You know, one in recently, but I genuinely can't put my finger on it like that is just slowly starting to fade away. But the crazy thing about it is, The crazy thing about it is, is the fact that, you know, I nearly psyched myself out of it the other day. 


But it's almost like it's, it's taking less and less time for me to get, you know, you know, kind of like prepare myself to have a shower that makes sense and it's like, it's taking less time. 


I'm reacting to it less and, you know, this is a good thing because ultimately, I want to be able to, you know, there are certain health benefits that come with it and one of those health benefits is being able to recognise and discern, you know, sensations, I suppose, and in other words, just being more, you know, being having a firmer mind and being calm and being able to remain calm during stressful situations. 


So if I keep on going, by the end of the year, not saying that I'll be completely unrecognisable, but I'll be in a position where I'll be able to just, you know, you know, deal with more stressful situations in a better way because in this music industry, it can get very treacherous. 


Things can get very, you know, things move at a very, very fast pace and people are very intentional sometimes, not with the best intentions in mind. 


So I want to be able to do my thing and yeah, looking forward to, you know, documenting the progress in the future.
