Commitment To The Game

Wednesday the 20th of August 2025. Today I saw something inspiring, somebody who effectively can like refer to music as their first child in the essence or in the sense that like you know there's nothing that comes before the music like you know career-wise, creative-
wise and all of that stuff, like there's nothing that basically kind of like comes before the music and like you know he's willing to go as far as like you know put in 24 hours in the studio
creating music you know out of you know just to make sure that know, just to make sure that, you know, just to make sure that, you know, by the time they leave the session, they come out with a song that is worth, you know, that is worth listening to. The only thing that I will add to that, the only thing that I will add to that is like, you know,
you know, music, again, like, you know, I feel like music, whilst for everybody it kind of completes them, the thing that unfortunately is incomplete and the thing that often doesn't come with music, especially when you're just starting out, is money. Figuring out how you're going to get yourself paid and how you're going to be able to keep things going in the long run.
So what I will say to that, what I will say to that is, again, there is always a danger. If you're spending 24 hours in the studio on your creative music and you haven't spent any time of that day selling, advertising or marketing,
then we might be in, Houston might have a problem. Let me just say that much. And yeah, man, like, you know, it's good. Like it's a good mindset and it's a good mentality to have. But at the same time, it's just very important to,
you know, remind ourselves that, you know, we can't just be creating music in the studio. We also have to be out promoting as well. And that's usually when everything falls apart, when we're not as dedicated in the promotion side of things as we are in the creative side of things.
