Your Reason To Live

Friday ninth, 2026. So one of the things that is going to be a recurring theme. Um, along my reflections, I'm beginning to realise is effectively my why, your why, and anybody's why.

Especially in context of like, you know, this long and uh, very bending, meandering and winding like um, you know, journey towards becoming like, you know, the best rapper artist that I can be as successful as I can be. Um, by my own, like, you know, unique measures and metrics. Like, my why becomes something that is very important.

It literally like, you know, it sows, it's so, you know, it should be sown and it should be interweaved into everything that I do. And there's a very important reason for that.

Um, you know, the reason why I'm doing this, like constantly coming back to the reason why I'm doing this, because, you know, there are going to be times where I'm going to be involved in projects and tasks and things and trying to set things up and it really isn't going to be comfortable.

It isn't going to be pretty. It's not going to be nice. Um, and I have to continuously come back to the reason why I'm doing this and very, it's very easy to get lost in this industry, in this journey.

It's incredibly, incredibly, you know, incredibly surprisingly easy. You know, even if you got it written down on a piece of paper somewhere, if you leave that piece of paper, never to return to it on a daily basis then, you can very easily get lost. And uh, effectively give up, you know, your Y, my Y, anybody's Y, is the reason that keeps people going.

Even when things are tough. It's like holding onto a weight and holding onto a barbell and choosing to squeeze and hold on for as long as you can, for as long as you can hold onto it, rather than letting go prematurely.

And, you know, I want to close this off by, you know, referencing, maybe, you know, bringing to attention like one of my songs from the mixtape, 3 phases of easy.

Um, you know, called a protocol. You know, and then, you know, you know, to give you a brief description, like, you know, in there I talk about how, like, you know, I started the journey.

And, uh, you know, you know, I had some people with me along the way and now I look back after like, you know, going a distance, you know, not so many people are there with me.

Do you know what I'm saying? It's like, and it just goes to show that it's important. Like, you know, I always stress this because, um, you know, people will give up.

You know what I'm saying? People will quit prematurely, maybe when they shouldn't have done. And so, like, it's important to just have that wire, that foundational, why, you know, to, you know, you know, you know, at the core of what what you do and what I do, because, you know, without that, like, we're just basically going to give up on our dreams.
