Unless I Happen

Wednesday, the 25th of February 2026. And uh, today I'm reminding myself that at the end of the day, nothing happens unless I happen in the context of this uh, journey towards um, mastery when it comes to becoming a rap artist, especially in the modern, modern context,

you know, lots of views, big audience, big shows, merchandise, effectively making a career. Like nothing happens unless I happen. 

I think that's one of the top 10 rules of, uh, you know, becoming an artist in your own right is essentially recognising that the destination that you want to get to, um, it is not gonna manifest itself if you want to put it in that colourful way. It is not gonna happen. It's not going to be a real reality unless you happen. 

So in other words, you know, I'm almost talking, um, as though I'm almost talking to myself in this instance, but it's like, unless I am the person that is actively, you know, drawing out each step of how to essentially get to a specific place, nothing is gonna happen. 

Like nothing comes from nothing. And it's very important to do that because it is going to, having this in the mindset is going to define your, you know, it's going to define your relationships. 

And it's also going to define your expectations when working with other people, whether it is for free or working for money or even charging somebody else to do a specific job for you. At the end of the day, nothing is going to happen unless you happen. Nothing is going to happen unless I happen. 

So, you know, if you are a person who is effectively in a situation where, you know, you are trying to, you know, continuously chase a career, especially one that is independent, one that is self-sufficient. Nothing is going to happen unless you happen.
