Good At Ignorance

Sunday, the 12th of April, 2026. I am going to be honest, right? Uh, the things that we do, the things that we wear, the way that we act, and the way that we put, you know, the way that we want to be portrayed says quite a lot about us.

I often go through these reflections when I see people walking by or I see the cars that they drive or the way that they walked or where do they talk.

The way they communicate, the people that they choose to surround themselves with, so on and so forth. Like, honestly, the idea of richness being rich, being wealthy has always been quite interesting to me.

Definitely from a psychological point of view. Not as well as from an observational point of view, but most definitely from a psychological point of view.

The reason why I say this is because, um, You know, I think about somebody who tries to make themselves look rich, and the money that they have to spend to make themselves look rich, and the way that they behave, once they have, you know, convinced themselves to a certain degree, that they are wealthy beyond imaginable means, right?

Uh, and then I really think about the bigger picture or at least the picture that I'm seeing whenever I look at these things.

Honestly, I'm not entirely certain, you know, I'm not entirely certain why, you know, people believe or why there is this idea that, you know, doing this is in any way commendable. I mean, sure.

Like again, it says a lot about you. You're successful, that you're doing well in life. But then it also means that you are ignoring the problems that are happening around you, especially when 100s, if not 1000s of people around you, are living in abject poverty.

So it's like you are, in essence, spending a lot of money to make yourself look like you're doing well, even though you're not doing as well as people think that you're doing.

Well, you know, when people look at you and perceive you with your watches and whatever it is. And then you are ignoring like literally like the suffering that's happening around you, like, you know, you are not the person that people know for kind of like creating things or creating environments, solving problems, like, you know, helping people out.

You are the person that is known for, um, essentially just wearing lovely watches and expensive, like, you know, driving expensive cars, et cetera, et cetera.

At the end of the day, honestly, it's I try to make this as, you know, objectively neutral as possible and not be too critical because, hey, I am very, very much, you know, I am not saying that I won't become that person one day. It's just interesting.

I just want to be honest with who I am and what I do rather than trying to gain some sort of like popularity for simply, you know, having a lot of money and not caring about other people's problems.
