Success Wears A Different T-Shirt

Monday, the 13th of April 2000 and uh 26. I think that in my case, especially when it comes to, you know, my music career, success wears a different t-shirt. In UK popular culture, um, or UK popular rap culture, I'm not entirely certain, um, you know, what I'm, uh, you know, I'm not

entirely certain what I'm talking about in terms of like the terminology, but I definitely know what I'm talking about in the instance.

Success wears a particular t-shirt, you know, the Rolexes, you know, the cars, the fame, the wealth, um, you know, the, uh, the, I say popularity, but really and truthfully is the clout.

And um, it often leaves leaves me thinking because the reality that I live, um, is often one that is, uh, you know, I'm often faced by the adversities that people have to go through. I am constantly, you know, I'm surrounded by suffering, in other words.

People are still, you know, happy, at least happy enough to get along in life, but people are going through like real problems.

And so, you know, the success, you know, the success, the t-shirt that, you know, you know, I also couldn't, you know, the t-shirt that my success is wearing is based off of like, you know, being able to motivate, being able to inspire, being able to, you know, maintain people's sense of confidence, people's sense of like, you know, um, you know, self-belief, so to speak, right?

And that's just the way that I want to look at it because in a way, it is actually like an easier path to go through.

You know, I'm not necessarily trying to, you know, meet societal expectations. Like, you know, it's not as, you know, as funny enough.

It's not, you know, effectively the price point, yeah, to get to the point where, you know, I feel successful for motivating people, inspiring people, and, um, you know, you know, encouraging people to keep pushing through their adversities is a lot cheaper than, you know, the price I need to pay to get people to, you know, you know, think I'm I'm I'm brilliant, people thinking that I'm rich, people thinking that I'm wealthy, think people thinking that I've got cars, women, and all the sorts.

Um, and the payback, the payback that I get, actually, for the money that, you know, you, you know, for the money that I pay when success wears the motivational t-shirt, is actually quite higher. You know, I get satisfaction. I get, you know, I get, you know, I get this nice feeling that I'm doing something good.

Whereas the other price, you know, you know, the other payback for the other instances is not quite as great, if I'm being honest.
