To Live & Grow

Sunday, the 1st of February, 2026. As much as I want to be able to live, I also want to be able to grow. Whilst those 2 things can almost be like 2 sides of the same coin, live in and growing.

When I talk about living, right, I'm talking about just merely being able to enjoy the fruits of my labour, not necessarily kind of like putting in effort or kind of like working towards a specific goal, just merely like living and enjoying the present moment.

Growing in essence is almost like, you know, putting, you know, kind of like the, um, you know, resting activities that is like, you know, the leisure, the leisurely activities to one side, um, for the purpose of like, you know, personal development and growth. I wanna be able to do those things.

I want to be able to live and grow, not necessarily simultaneously, but in a more balanced fashion that allows me to kind of like enjoy the benefits of growing and living, if that makes sense.

It is difficult because, you know, as, you know, as soon as I know that I've put in kind of like a decent weeks, uh, amount of work, then I begin to look forward to living so much so to the point that I almost want to live forever without necessarily growing.

So, with that being said, with that being said, it's always, it's always going to be a balancing act and it's always going to be, uh, me having to like, uh, discipline myself and me having to effectively kind of like define my own routine, my own structure, my own school.

You know, school was, you know, very structured and there were always timetables and periods and subjects and assignments.

And, you know, like, ever since I've left school, it's very funny, like, that's all I've, uh, you know, kind of like aimed to do to put myself back into school, but it's just my own school. And, you know, it's like my own business, my own development, my own ideas.
