The Main Takeaway

Okay cool, Saturday the 15th of March 2025 and really and truthfully the main takeaway from this reflection is that if nobody is going to do it for you, if you don't start doing it for yourself. One of the things that I'm thinking about at the moment revolves around the song that I put
out roughly about six months ago and it's called Rapping and you know whilst it's a very casual listen like you know I'm not really kind of like touching into anything too deeply.
There is kind of like a lot of, there is a kind of like a lot of thought and a lot of life experience that effectively inspired me to write that song. Now, as much as the words themselves and the things that I'm saying
don't particularly kind of like, you know, force the listener to go into anything deep. Now there is a theme of class in there, the theme of the underclass, lower class, right, in there. There's also like a theme of sexuality, a theme of effectively like a psychology ego and you know I kind of like reflect over like the idea right
that I'm this person effectively living or experiencing life from you know the low quality spectrum effectively being poor and how it shapes the Quality of my character so to speak so again when I'm kind of like, you know talking about you know Wrapping on this old-school classic tax bracket made my mathematics vanish whilst I may be playing on the idea that I'm making so much money That there's a lot of like taxes that I'm having to pay and therefore it means that I'm not making a lot of money the truth of the matter is is that the money that I make, as little as it actually
is, is actually, you know, when the tax does get taken away from it, it's nothing. There's literally absolutely nothing left. And, you know, it also plays on the idea that, you know, we as people, right, who kind of come from poor backgrounds, for some reason feel the need to show people that we're rich, that we have so much money, right? And, you know, and in actuality we actually don't. So it's a very interesting kind of like theme.
And I guess the only thing that I wanted to talk about really is just how like, I'm effectively learning how to sell that story. I'm trying to sell that song and I'm trying to sell the idea to people and show, I'm not just selling it, I'm also telling.
I'm telling everybody about the deep themes behind it. Like there is a deep thought behind it, even though it's a very casual listen there is a deep kind of like you know thought process and experience that went behind all of that
