Okay, so Thursday the 3rd of July 2025 and you know what there's one thing that I really enjoyed to do when I was younger and something that I kind of like realized was kind of like intrinsically kind of like beneficial to me and important and that is effectively kind of like
looking at a history and looking at the experience of the people that came before me relevant to like my contemporary history and again i'm using the word history but
i might be a little bit misleading here what is it that i'm trying to talk about okay so the people that came before us so for example like i was born in 1994 i'm referring to the generation that effectively came before me the you know the referring to the generation that effectively came before me, the first two generations that came before me. So people may be born in the 80s, kind of like 70s, 60s, 50s,
and really kind of like learning about kind of like their understanding around life, around what's important, you know, the things that they focus on, and really and truthfully, what is it that makes it about what it was about them that kind
of like made it made them kind of like you know made them kind of like strong in the sense like how they effectively survived and the things about them that effectively kind of like created this this thing that they survived right and you know when I look at older people, right, one of the things that really stuck out to me is that they were kind of like very resilient. They were very kind of like tough in a way.
I'm not exactly kind of like, you know, when I'm using the word tough, I am referring to like toughness in the broad sense, as in they were very kind of like resilient, so to speak. They were able to kind of like resilient, so to speak, they were able to kind of like undergo, kind of like long periods of kind of like, you know, labor and, you know, long periods of shortages.
They were also really able to like adapt to stuff like that. And all the ways in which they lived, kind of like really started painting this idea that I really wanted, you know, they started painting this image
that I really wanted to benefit from. And I wanted to mirror that because I knew that if it was gonna be advantageous to them, it was also gonna be advantageous to me insofar as kind of like their kind of like strengths were anyway. So of course, if they were able to be resilient, again, learning how they were resilient
is also gonna be beneficial to me. There is always the risk that, you know, kind of like how they survived and the things that made them kind of like, you know, the benefits that kind of like the advantages that they had might not necessarily apply to the world that I'm living in today, but I still believe that there are certain habits that effectively transcend across all history, which is why I deeply, deeply, deeply enjoy listening to all people
talk, you know, even listening to anybody that came before me and just literally kind of like gauging and taking information from how they kind of like did things and stuff like that and you know the truth of the matter is that they had no mobile phones. They had no mobile phones and that was a big plus for them because it meant that they didn't have any distractions. Yes, there's certain things that, there's certain weaknesses that came from that but if I'm
able to live in a day where today, where I'm able to literally control how much my phone distracts me, and at the same time, be able to genuinely, legitimately, like, you know,
if I'm able to put myself in a position where, like I suppose, you know, I control distraction, I can then return and gain from, I suppose, like you know, I can then again align myself with the strength of effectively not having a mobile phone. And you know, that excites me, like you know, that excites me, so to speak, like, like, I could probably kind of like do a much deeper dive into this.
And you know, I'm, you know, I really want to. But for now, like, I'm just gonna leave it here and just basically go on with the rest
