Power Corrupts

Okay, Sunday the 13th of April 2025 and there's an expression that I heard at some point in my history that goes something along the lines of absolute power corrupts, sorry, absolute power corrupts, sorry, I think it's like power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I feel like whenever we want to kind of like dive deep in the essence of effectively kind of like discovering Not so much our own truth

Yes, kind of like things that concern our own personal truth, but then just kind of like the truth in general We have to appreciate and acknowledge that we are always going to be up against our own seemingly innocent attempt to effectively deceive ourselves. Like the way that our mind works and the way that our ego works, we want to shape things and mold things in a way that makes us an integral character into the story that is playing out before us, the story that I call life.

So it's kind of like, you know, this is kind of like one of the dangers that I feel like it's very important for us to acknowledge, right? That we, whenever we tell a story, we tell a story how we want it to be told. We tell a story how we want it to be told, we tell a story how we want it to be heard, and we tell a story how we want it to be perceived. No matter how hard we try to make it as kind of like,

you know, I think loyal to the truth as possible, there is always going to be that innate desire to effectively change a few things, remove a couple of words, add new ones in and effectively just kind of like sculpt and reframe the entire dynamic of the whole message that is being delivered. And it's quite unfortunate, but it's only unfortunate because of our refusal to admit that this is what we do and I reckon it's just effectively just important to just you know Recognize that this is who we are that this is what we do because when we don't

We kind of like sell our ideas as absolute truths and absolutely demonize and cut down Anybody else who disagrees or has another truth in? competition kind of like up against you know in the market with our own truth
