On The Sidelines

Sunday, the 4th of October 2026. And um, I suppose I did, um, find a point in my journey when I got, um, completely fed up with feeling as though I was just, um, sitting on the sidelines, just, um, watching people either working towards their accomplishments or effectively.

like you know, hitting milestone after milestone. and get into certain destinations that I either envied or wanted to be. If I'm being honest, one of the habits that I continuously work to, I suppose, carve out is the habit that puts me in a position where I struggle to be happy for other people and happy for others in their accomplishments.

And um, I think it's something that I want to be pretty honest about. Uh, because it is important for me to recognise uh, where I am, you know, where I have limitations on my character.

Uh, because they effectively have an impact on the happiness that I can experience and the happiness I can deliver onto other people as well through my experience and through the essence of me being happy.

So, yeah, like because I was operating from a mindset of scarcity for such a long time, I was, um, you know, struggling to find happiness, joy, um, for other people.

And it's almost weird because it's like, if I'm unable to effectively meet the goals, if I'm not able to carve out the life that I want for myself, then I find myself either subconsciously or naturally being unhappy. Um, for the lives of other people.

So because I'm unable to be happy for the life that I have for myself, then my main job becomes, you know, pointing out flaws in other people's lives and stuff like that.

And I feel like judgement in general is something that is, um, uh, something that, in my opinion, should be ultimately avoided, uh, because it essentially is a catalyst for, um, you know, jealousy, uh, comparison and unhappiness.

So, yeah, man, I keep, you know, I stay diligent towards the process of becoming the, you know, the, the, the, the, the, the greatest artist I can be for myself and, you know, make sure that I partake in due diligence to make sure that I keep myself happy.
