Obscured By Doubt

Saturday, October the 10th, 2026. So, one of the things that I was thinking about is, um, how different I feel now in comparison to how I felt like, um, I want to say like 15 years ago, essentially like, you know, towards the very early stages when I was essentially like, you know, investing myself into music, into rapping, and all of that stuff.

You know, it was a bit of an emotional reflection because right now I do things with the knowledge and with the understanding that I can absolutely accomplish, you know, whatever it is that I put my mind to.

So long as, as, so long as I do due diligence to like get the necessary steps complete and also being able to, um, you know, again, believe in myself and stuff like that, right?

And the reason why this was a bit emotional is because when I think back to like, you know, 15 years ago, you know, back when I was like, you know, 15, 16, 17, like, I genuinely did this without having that belief there in the 1st place. If anything, like it was, I was completely, I was completely, you know, obscured by doubt.

Do you know what I'm saying? So it's like, it's quite, it's quite, it's quite challenging if I'm being honest, because, you know, to reflect over because, you know, that version of me, like, no longer exists, and it feels like it's so, you know, it feels so far on, it feels so foreign to me to, like, think in the way that I used to think, but then still being the same person that wants to put this music together and is doing everything, everything that I can.

in my power to like make that stuff happen. But, um, you know, I guess the, the, the key takeaway is that it was definitely a necessary process to, again, to prove to myself that, you know, that I will be able to accomplish whatever it is that I put my mind to, especially something like, you know, again, putting rhymes together, being able to, you know, build a career for myself from this.

Like I definitely had to go through that process because, um, the longer that I stayed, you know, doubting myself, you know, the quicker that I would have burnt myself out and crashed out in a very negative way.
