No Time Will Ever Be Right

Wednesday, the 1st of April 2026. You know, I had a conversation with a friend of mine. You know, about music because, um, you know, trying to do music is not something that I'm doing in, um, in isolation.

There are plenty of people that I know that are effectively trying to do the same thing that I do. And, uh, you know, I was talking to him, and unfortunately, like, you know, his lifestyle is very different to mine. Um, the access that he has to his own time is very different to minors.

So his perspective is going to be different. He is, I suppose, limited by time in a way that I am not. And so his perspective is, you know, he wants to essentially, you know, continue or kind of like start doing music again when he is ready to be consistent when he's in a position where he can be consistent.

You know, and I've been thinking about the time that has passed, uh, ever since he stopped doing music, and honestly, like, uh, we're into, we're into, we're into the years now, I think we're into like free, maybe 4 years since he's decided to, you know, effectively do something.

And really and truthfully, like my question behind that is, um, at what point, you know, you know, is anybody ever going to be ready? At what point is anybody ever gonna be in the perfect position to do anything at all?

Because in that 4 years where, let's say, for example, he's been waiting to be in a position where he can be consistent, right? Like, you know, what has happened and what potential could have been met in that 4 years? 4 years is a long time in my books. is, you know, it's a lot of time that, you know, where a lot of things could have happened.

And of course, the same thing could be said for myself. Um, but I think I have a very different attitude and perspective towards that. I believe that I am failing my way towards music in the sense that, you know, I am trying and I'm trying and I'm trying and I'm trying and I'm continuously trying and I'm doing something every day.

I'm trying to find something to do every day towards my music until I get to the point where I become consistent. Um, so, you know, if I start 1st and foremost, but 1st and foremost by dropping a song every year, then I drop a song, one song every year, until it becomes 2 songs a year, and then 3 songs a year, and then 4 or 5, and then eventually that number will grow exponentially. Otherwise, if I stay stuck at zero, and in the next year, I do zero, then the next, you know, the result will always be zero.

Like there will never be a time and eventually I'll get to the end.
