My Neurotic Habit

Sunday d 22nd of February 2026 and I, so this evening, this evening, I've started to effectively put this music video together. So, in essence, there's a song that I've recorded called Lilith. I've decided to call it Lilith, named after the she demon, from the Abrahamic,

from the Abrahamic Jewish culture. I don't think it's, I don't think she's ever referenced in the Bible. She may have been referenced once before. But in essence, that's the name of the song that I've decided.

You know, that's the name that I've decided to give to the song. And to be honest, the song itself comes from the unreleased mixtape, the Mata mystery. And, uh, you know, like it's, you know, this process where I'm at with it at the moment is proof and testimony to how tempestuous my creative process is.

So effectively, there's no rhyme or reason to it. Which isn't necessarily a good thing. It's not, it's also not necessarily a bad thing, but uh, definitely not, not, not a good thing in that sense because, um, you know, one of the things that I've been trying to focus on, especially this year, is to effectively really nail that structure and that routine and that process because effectively life in itself is a balancing act, especially in the uh, capitalist society that we live in, in the world where, you know, we have to kind of like go to work and do all of these things and, you know, some of us have got families, some of us have got jobs, some of us have got responsibilities and balancing those, like, you know, music, as I've always said, is takes a life of its own, takes a response.

You know, it is a responsibility and finding, you know, balancing that with other things is what I'm really struggling with at the moment. But yeah, finding a chronological order to my music releases is also the trouble because, you know, once a song has been, you know, written, recorded, mixed, mastered, it then needs to be released and it needs to be promoted and it needs to be kind of like nurtured to, you know, to a, you know, to an already, well, a fan base or a kind of like a, uh, a developing fan base anyway. which is quite complicated. I say complicated, but it's complex.

There are several moving parts and It can take up so much time, and after what happens is life comes in the way, and I just need to sort of like respond to what's happening immediately, which is why I'm not particularly great at responding to messages, sometimes I will start a project and abandon a project, and it's just, it's really annoying.

But, um, you know, I'm going to promise, I'm going to promise to, you know, that I will get there. It's just gonna take some time.
