Main Character Syndrome

Yeah man, Tuesday 6th of May 2025 and yeah man, one of the interesting things about kind of like being alive in 2025 yeah and just basically having a virtual world that one can look into, social media, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and all of the likes. Being able to see like you

know across the other side of the world you know being able to see into worlds like Australia, North Korea, being able to look into America, being able to see like you know across the other side of the world you know being able to see into worlds like Australia, North Korea, being able to look into America, being able to look into the lives of the West, the people that live

with everything as maximum beneficiaries right and this is the thing what do I mean when I say maximum beneficiaries? well I speak for myself right you know growing up I used to kind of like you know grow up with this victim mentality in some cases I still do have like, grow up with this victim mentality. In some cases, I still do have like a little bit of a victim mentality, but at least now I have a little bit of awareness towards that.

It's interesting because like as much as we, I have a suspicion effectively that we overestimate, right. Our importance or we, um, have an overestimate. the the past was like gives me everything that I need to know to understand that really and truthfully in comparison to kind of like the massive amounts of work that have been done over millennia I haven't contributed anything to society like you know I'm just like a little blip you know in a moment and stuff like that and yeah like you know I carry myself on social media just in like as

very many people would carry themselves on social media as though you know that they've they've contributed like you know as though like you know they did they're worthy of something that they're worthy of more like they were you know we've literally done nothing and yet we carry ourselves as people that you know kind of like leave a massive impact we don't do anything we don't really do anything and yet we're so filled with this you know high with this this ego this sense

of self-importance and I thought that social media basically helps kind of like towards that which isn't great but in any sense it's like you know it's interesting we all have a main character you know my main character syndrome everything is meant to be me me me me me and yeah like you know we've done subtle we've done absolutely nothing to kind of like contribute to society nothing in the slightest
