How It’s Going So Far

okay Wednesday the 16th of April 2025 and you know what yeah I think at some point last week I would have talked about like you know setting up my radio station which I've been able to do to a certain extent I've been able to kind of let's sort that out so now I've got like

content scheduled and it effectively plays my music or it effectively kind of like posts my music right you know on a repeat on a repeat basis and uh you know I might have spoken about kind of like you know I may or may not have spoken about you know my

expectations and how poorly or how well it was going to perform. And the truth is, is that, you know, there's always, you never know kind of like what the result is gonna be like. Of course, you can, you know, kind of like when it comes to posting on social media, the more you learn, the more you study, the more you kind of like, you know,

not necessarily follow the trends, but the more you kind of like work your head around the algorithm and kind of like, you know What works and what doesn't the the higher the likelihood you're gonna get the results that you're looking for But I mean right now I'm just looking at the way that things are going and I'm like Do I'm saying like I wish that I kind of like got more, you know a better reception if I'm being honest like my first post, first post, you know, in terms of, because it's a real, for goodness sakes, like I was expecting to kind of like get like, you know, like more, more

views and again, views, again, I'm not really a great fan of, you know, the metrics that Instagram shows nowadays because like, you know, I prefer to reach accounts, reach us like how many accounts has this piece of content, reach how many accounts has seen this kind of stuff. Even though really and truthfully, the juicy metrics are the likes, the comments.

Comments are very, very juicy. Shares are very juicy, saves are very juicy. And I've got like maybe, maybe like a spatter of those. But anyway, the key takeaway from it is that, like, you know, it's this is trial by combat, trial by error, trial, trial, trial.

The key word is trying, testing and trying. And the thing is, I put a lot of emotional weight behind creating this freaking stuff for something that isn't really getting a great deal of return. And it's not nice, man. But you kind of got to look at it, move on and still continue with that. Like I now have to ask myself, does it make sense to keep on doing this?

Do I just keep on going? I think I should, because otherwise people aren't really kind of like hearing the music. But it's like if this is only reaching like 12 accounts and there's very little to no engagement is there any point in kind of like keeping on posting I don't know but you know it's kind of like kind of like it's all a case of like figuring out what works and

what doesn't and then when you realize that something doesn't work even though it's something that you put a great deal of effort in and it was something that's nice and it's pretty or whatever it is you kind of like have to move on and focus on posting the things that actually do work. But anyways, I digress, I digress. Um, I think I'm gonna keep on posting this stuff because I actually like it. Like, come on. Otherwise, what's the point? It's just a waste.
