Deep In The Present Moment

Friday the 22nd of August 2025 and although I've spoken about the present moment so many times before in the past I will speak on the present moment again to effectively kind of like add on to everything that I've been saying to now argue the point that effectively like you

know anything you know beyond the present moment that is whether it's in the past or whether it is in the future you know if we're using our

minds to focus too much on the past and the future we are folding ourselves into believing that you know that there's something in the past or there is something in the future that is better than the now. Really and truthfully all we have is the now and you know the danger in folding ourselves into believing that the past was better or the future was better. Like let me give you an example.

You know today at work I decided that instead of looking at the clock or instead of looking at the watch to see how long left, you know, how long I've got left before I'm supposed to finish. I just decided to just basically focus on what it is that I have now, because if I'm being honest, there is nothing that is going to speed up the process.

Nothing is going to speed up the hands of time and get me to a position where I've finished work. And even when I finished work, what's to stop me from thinking about, you know, like, you know, what's going to be better beyond the point

in which I finished work. Like, let's say, for example, I finished work. I'm glad that I'm going home, but oh my gosh, I wish that my life was better. I wish that I was at the point where I had more money, more wealth, more health, whatever it is that can come to mind. And I'm saying that, you know, effectively our thoughts

and the way that we use our minds, if we're not using them intentively, if we're not using them with intention, it can get us into trouble. It can take us away from the reward of the present moment. And that's what we have to be mindful of always,

as often as we can be.
