Both Hero & Villain
Tuesday, the 29th of September 2026. In the context of doing whatever it is that we can in our artistic intent to turn our dreams into a reality.
I've come to terms with the notion that we really do create the reasons for and the reasons against doing certain things. irrespective of whether the things that we do, um, aid us or they work against us.
We ourselves create the reasons and the line of reasonings behind why we should or shouldn't do them.
And I suppose that requires a significant level of self-awareness and self-onesty. Especially as I begin to traverse forward in the process of turning my artistic or musical dreams to a reality.
I have to come to terms that, you know, whether I am doing something, uh, because it is working in the favour of my success or working against, uh, the, you know, against the favour of my success.
Um, I am inherently creating the reasons uh, and justifying the reasons for doing it in my mind.
And uh, from that, I suppose forms this picture with this frame that uh, Eva creates uh, the possibility for me to accomplish something or the limit for me to accomplish something.
This is where my emotions, my fears, and my attitudes come from. And they're all in line with who I believe I am and who I think I am, and who I think I know I am.
So with that being said, like, um, I would like to come forward to this example.
I think about, uh, you know, a, um, you know, somebody who effectively feels like they're drowning.
You know, they're in a, they're in the ocean or, you know, they're in an ocean. they feel like they're drowning. And, uh, in essence, like, uh, you know, this, this, the fear is overwhelmed them.
They feel they feel as though they're about to drown.
If only they would realise that they're just basically splashing around on the shallow end and all they need to do is push their feet down so that they can make a connection with the sun beneath them and stand so that their head effectively floats above the water.
So, um, yeah, with that being said, I think it's important for us to recognise that we really are, you know, the hero or the villain of our own story.
We truly are the Maker of the, we truly are the Maker or Andua of our own success.
