Be Happy For Others

Friday the 25th of July 2025 and it's becoming increasingly important to be happy for other people's successes in the music industry. Working in the music industry, being in the music industry, it's very very easy to kind of fall within the mistake or the bad habit of effectively

comparing my journey to other people's journeys, my successes to other people's successes. Numbers can very easily play a mind game on us. Like you know, you know throughout this week I've

been spending time just kind of like being happy with the amount of people that are viewing my content, engaging with my content, even though kind of like being happy with the amount of people that are viewing my content, engaging with my content, even though it's below 200. And equally I'm sharing the same platform with somebody who is getting 2,000, 20,000, however many millions of views and likes and comments and whatever it is. And it's very important to remind myself to be happy for other people's successes, right? Be grateful for other people's successes and be grateful for the fact that I can be happy. I can literally gain joy from my own progress and the little

steps that I'm making to effectively be happy in my own right. At the end of the day I'm not doing this for anybody else. I'm doing this for me to be happy. Of course there are kind of like greater purposes behind that like being able to provide for my family, creating a future for my children and you know making my parents proud but ultimately I'm doing this to make myself happy and if I can make myself happy with 200 views then I'll make myself happy with 200 views like I don't

need to get the 2,000 the 20,000 the 2 million everything else after that is a bonus and being happy for other people really helps me to be happy for myself as well and the more I can do that the more courage and willingness and the more joy I give myself to pursue forward kind of like to do to move forward and pursue the things that will eventually get me those views and those likes and those comments.

But ultimately as well, the revenue that I need to effectively do what it is that I do full time without needing to work a full 9-5 job.
