Aware Of Our Own Egos

Monday the 17th of February 2025 and it's really important for us as artists trying to pave our way into the music industry to become self-aware of our own egos. So the older I get the more time that I spend investing in myself investing in my personal brand learning more
about who I am and learning more about what I need to do to kind of like get the results that I want. I've come to the realization that I really do need to become very self-aware of my own ego. So, like I
really want to be able to articulate this in a very practical and a compact way but like one of the one of the very basically a lot of the stuff that I'm saying has come from observation, self-reflection, reflecting on my own self and also observing other artists as well. Like we have egos, huge egos and the bigger our egos the more sensitive we become to criticism, to change, to anything, any idea that effectively doesn't come from our own mind. Some of us have got better temperaments when it comes to this thing but I really want to
stress how kind of like detrimental this is to our own failure especially when we're trying to pave our own way in the music industry. So like you know for the most part like we want to make music, we want to make music that effectively feeds our own ego and we want to have an audience that effectively perpetuates or kind of like continues to feed that ego. Some of the biggest egomaniacs in the music industry
have been able to kind of like build some sort of like success from this, but this wasn't without like the backing of people who understood effectively how to gain attention and how to make money.
