A Weird Meandering Journey

Sunday the 27th of July 2025 and yeah man like it's a little bit weird kind of like you know you know the journey of becoming like a rap artist and just basically building a career you know kind of like off my own back you know pretty much from scratch is a bit of a weird one

because you know as much as I you know initially thought that I would be for the most part just basically writing raps, writing verses, writing hooks, you know writing records

and effectively just jumping on beats and spend the majority of my time doing that I have found myself kind of like going through a meandering kind of like rollercoaster ride of like wearing through a meandering kind of like roller coaster ride of like wearing different hats, you know, thinking from the perspective of a videographer, a graphics designer or cover art artist, a, you know, an editor, again, a, well, maybe, maybe a little bit of a producer, an engineer.

I've done all of these different little things and, you know, it's a bit of a weird one because you know again like as much as it's not something that I particularly wear, it's not a flag that I particularly wear with pride because in the long term what I really want to be doing is just basically honing in and just focusing on improving on my skill as a recording artist, as somebody who writes and records, writes and records, etc, etc, etc.

Still of course not afraid to effectively just kind of like, you know, hop into the different positions that I need to hop into when the time comes, but at the same time I've realized that it's very, very important to, as time goes on, begin to specialize, even though, like again, you you know it's never like it's never really been my intention to wear all of these different hats it's just that from the perspective of the artist and from the perspective of somebody who

wants kind of like to establish a fan base and stuff like that initially in the beginning I've had to do all of these things on my own and I'm still very much doing a lot of this on my own but I'm definitely in the process of preparing to kind of like branch out and start to hand these things out to people who are much more skilled than me in the different departments that are necessary.
