A New Beginning At TekTrick

Friday the 27th of February 2026. And, uh, yeah, I just finished, uh, a, uh, I finished at 10. I finished attending a label meeting.

I'm not gonna lie. Um, you know, it was very, it was a very impactful meeting. It was a lot more meaningful and a lot more eventful than what I expected it to be to the point where, uh, I don't want to use I don't want to use the words, it's too good to be true because that's not necessarily accurate. 

It's more so, you know, kind of like hard to believe. It's hard to believe that I've gotten to this point. And it's making me wonder, like, what have I done to get this far, so to speak? 

Like, you know, what is it that I've done? But then also at the same time that I'm asking myself, what have I done to get this far and what have I done to deserve this? I'm also asking myself, you know, what more am I going to need to do now to move further? 

Unfortunately, like trying to become this rap artist that I've always wanted to be or even trying to maintain the artist that I already am. It's almost like a snowballing effect. With each year, I get busier, busier, and busier, things get harder and harder. 

It feels like I need to do so much to just be able to keep the engine alive, so to speak. And even now it just feels like my life is not necessarily threading the part. It's just expanding in different directions. 

So if you can just imagine like, you know, the universe just going, boom, and it's just basically expanding everywhere, almost like going in multiple directions at the same time. It really describes the way that I'm feeling at the moment about everything. And it's making me realise that this is what I now need to do in order to advance forward. 

So the label meeting was very good. There's a massive opportunity that, you know, I'd be stupid to say no to. And it means that things will be moving a lot more consistently, so to speak, if I'm able to just, you know, keep stay productive and keep myself aligned with the goals of the production team that I'm going to be working with. 

It's definitely very exciting and daunting at the same time. I'm looking forward to seeing, to seeing like, you know, the results and how that's going to look in the following year.
