As much as I respect the fact that not everybody is different, I can't help but think that life will punish you for being lazy and wanting things easy. As much as I can appreciate that there is an extraordinary gift behind being lazy, I also can't help but think that at some point eventually, laziness will catch up with you and you will be punished for not being able to meet up with life's demands.
The problem that I have with wanting things easy is that eventually you train yourself to look for the things that aren't difficult. You train yourself to always look for the easiest way out, and whilst I can imagine that that in some cases can actually be to your advantage, I tend to find that ultimately it's going to lead you to your demise. The reason why I say this is because I often ask myself what is going to happen when the only option is the hard way as opposed to the easy way?
What is going to happen the day you are so accustomed to doing things the easy way, the effortless way, and all of a sudden you were met with a situation where the hard way is the only option; you do not have the capacity to be able to operate in such a situation because you are so accustomed to doing things easy ?
Ultimately in my opinion laziness is a gift that can be harnessed so long as you are willing to do the necessary work required to be able to gain advantage from it. But at the same time so long as you are just the plain, bog standard, no effort, couldn't be bothered version of laziness that I have known to be a detriment to so many peoples progress and so many peoples happiness in life, as far as I'm concerned being lazy and wanting things easy is nothing but a nuisance and a curse to anybody wanting to live a fulfilling life.
